    My family has a history of diabetes, and I have noticed with age that at times I am hypoglycemic, and I need to eat something that has sugars or breaks down into sugars. 

    When I was out of control, this is how my life went: If I caught it before I started feeling super awful, I could suffice with a nice meal and get a good balance of nutrition. But if I let it go for even 5 minutes too long, I needed the fast fix that usually consisted of unhealthy sugars. 

    I heard of the great benefits of cinnamon, so I began to use it pretty regularly. I have also found that pairing it with doses of Ginger Root has been very beneficial for my heart health as well. I am not a huge fan of cinnamon, so I take it in capsule form, the Ginger Root on the other hand, I found Iike the candied ginger root, I like it in many dishes, and it goes well in a lot of beverages as well.

    My doctor has seen improvements as well with my lower cholesterol levels and a more stable glucose reading. She is totally on board with holistic treatments in combination with modern medicine.

  4. It is quite rare to see somebody suffer from hypoglycemia when they don’t have diabetes, and if they do it is usually quickly remedied with some form of sugar.

    I know it can be life-threatening for people with diabetes, and my stepfather died in this way, as he was alone and went into shock, with nobody around to come to his rescue with a bottle of coke.
